TO HELP THE MAORI SOLDIERS' FUND.

A concert in aid of Lady Liverpool's and Mrs. Pomare's Maori Soldiers Fund will be held on Thursday. It is hoped that a large audience will take this opportunity of helping the Maori soldiers, and enjoying poi dances, hakas, and the melodious Maori voices. All reserved seats have a chance of winning a beautiful feather mat and rare Maori kits. The unreserved seats also have a chance of drawing rare Maori baskets, which are being exhibited in a window in town. His Excellency the GovernorGeneral will draw the lucky numbers immediately after the interval. During the interval, Major Samuels will auction a flag and Maori works of art.
