DTJNEDIN, This Day.
In the Tailoresses' dispute a settlement was reached by'the Conciliation Council to-day. The wages of jourheywomcii are to be"£l 10s for the first six months, and £1 15s thereafter. ■ Apprentices' wages work out at. a2s 6d increase. It was agreed that the time statement bo calculated at the rate of 9d hourly. 'In the general conditions a special clause has been inserted restricting team-work. The agreement'is for two years, commencing on 21st October. .
