... LONDON', 30th September. . A French communique states: In the Champagne we captured Mont Fauxelles and Vieux, and carried our lines.to the southern outskirts of Aiire. On the left we penetrated Saint Marie-a-Py. Our airmen bombed assemblages of enemy troops in the battle, zone., Groups of fifty "machines twice attacked reserves which were preparing for counter-attacks iie'ar; Marvaux. and Lery. Fifteen enemy aeroplanes and three balloons were brought dowhi .'.'':
