The New Zealand High Commissioner reports: — • ■ ' IiONDON, 29th September, 2.10 a.m. Sir Douglas Haig reports : This morning successful fighting was extended along a front of 30 miles, from St. Quentin to the Sensee .River. The New Zealanders cleared the Welsh ridge, breaking a hostile counter-attack, and advancing; captured La Vaquerie ond the spur between Bonavis and Masnieres. The naval divisions reached the southern, and the Canadians penetrated the northwest outskirts of Cnmbrai. We have captured in three days 22,000 prisoners and 300 guns. • " ' .
