HOSPITAL SHIPS' STAFFS

The staffs.of H.M.N.Z. hospital ships are regarded as detachments of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, but will be administered direct by Headquarters, N.Z. Military Forces, Wellington (states a notification in General Orders). The •military personnel will be regarded as on active service from the date of embarkation in New Zealand to date of disembarkation on return, both dates inclusive. Whilst' in the United Kingdom the staffs of H.M.N.Z. hospital ships will be administered tlirough Headquarters, N.Z.E.F., London.
