'•:' NOTICE is hereby .given that at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council.r:held on the 26th day of August, 1918, the following resolution was passed:— \ .."■ "' ;, „ ■ . . ■ " The Wellington City Council, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the 'Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,' and its Amendments, and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, doth hereby re-. solve, by way of Special Order, to accept a surrender of' Memoranda of Leasej Registered Numbers 3603 ,and 5604, of Lots 14 and 13, D.P. 540, from the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of tho City of Wellington, to Bendix Hallenstein, subject as to Lot 14 to Grants of Easements,-Regis-tered Numbers 33903 A,, 34595, and 35707; and to existing tenancies; and subject as to Lot 13 to Grant of Right of Way, Registered Number 3672, and to' existing tenancies; and to grant new leases to; the surrenderee of\ the said .lands, namely Jacob M'Eldowneyj of .Wellington, Warehouseman, for the unexpired portions of the terms of the surrendered leases, 1 one lease to fie of Lot 1 on the plan annexed hereto, subject to Grant of Right of. Way, Registered Number 3672 and Grants of .Party, Wall, Registered. The costs of the preparation of, and advertising of this: \Special Order, and the preparation and execution of the surrender and new leases, shall be borne by the said Jacob M'Eldowney."
