The strike continues to extend. North of London the railways are entirely closed, while other suburban lines are badly hampered.' There is a complete stoppage of traffic from Tilbury Docks. Troops are taking charge of the South Wales railways. The first four contingents of six hundred which arrived at Newport were cheered.
