Mr. T. Thompson, C.E.y of Westport, received news by the. last'home'mail that his nephew, Commander, W. J. Thompson, R.N., lias been awarded the D.5.0., and awarded by the French Government the Croix de Guerre, for "exceptional service in submarine -warfare."
