The auxiliary schooner May Howard, which left Lyttelton on Saturday night, arrived at Dunedin on Tuesday morning
The Government steamer Hinemoa is to leave Wellington at 9 o'clock to-morrow morning on her round visit of inspection to the northern lighthouses
The trial run of tbe Opitai will take place at L.vttelton on Saturday afternoon next. At present tUe vessel is loading cargo for Vancouver
The Lyttelton Harbour Board lias decided to* comply, with the request of the Chiel Engineer of Railways to lend the Department the board's dredge Tcwhaka. to do some dredging at the wharf at Nelson. The price is fixed at £23 per djiy, the department to insure the vessel for £12,000, or guarantee the board against any loss. BY TBXEGRAPH.
