i IMPROVEMENT IN SIGHT.
I4n important announcement in regard co;. the shipping shortage was made by She Hon. D. H. Guthrie (Minister in Cfiarge of Imperial Supplies) in conversation with a Post reporfer this morning. *"Xhe recent information received from our Leaders at Home," he said, "seems to? indicate a. further improvement in regard to shipping. We will probably have loading in New Zealand between now aijid the end of the year at least eighteen steamers; of full average capacity."
