HIS MAJESTY'S.

. Tom Hayerley and his Musical Comedy Company in "Two Irish Sports," at His Majesty s last week were quite successful and wonderfully funny; and in "The Man in Black," which they presented last evening, they were even more laughable and thoroughly enjoyable. The plot gallops along, and through the trials and final discomforture of an elderly Irish aspirant to the hand of a youthful and unwilling bride Tom Haverley and J. P. O'Neill, both gifted with abroad brogue, are responsible for the main part of the fun, and are ably supported by the other members of the company. The musical items are good, and the dancing by the Kewpie Kids is very good. Tho vaudeville section of the programme, too, is well up to standard. Ward Lear made a welcome reappearance in song and clever imitations, and Emerson and Hasto are already well and favourably known to all patrons of the theatre. Kingsley and Graham offered' new songs and smart patter, and Leywood and Narell are another diverting couple. Maude Courtney and "Mr. C." sang nowand. topical songs and told whirlwind stories in a manner that pleased the big audience mightily. The programme will. be repeaied each evening this week.
