THE MILK SCHEME AND THE VENDORS

The city milk vendors have been given until noon on Monday next, to say whether they will agree to submit their businesses to form part of the general scheme regarding the supply and delivery of milk, recently put forward by the Special Milk Committee and accepted by the City Council. ■ A signature to such an agreement, will bind the vendor to work under the regulations necessary to bring the scheme into operation. The vendors have also been asked to give a decision as to whether they prefer the company system or the direct control system.
