It is nearly four years ago since Mr. Bernard F. Page (City Organist) devoted ah entire programme at his organ, recitals to the "works of . Cesar Franek To-mor-row an organ recital of Cesar Frsnek's works will be given, . and the musical people of Wellington will no doubt look forward with pleasure to it. The first movement of Cesar Franck's Symphony in D Minor, which was transcribed by Mr. Page for the organ, will be played at this recital, and will be of interest to all-music, lover!-. An entirely new work to Wellington will be performed—Toccata in F Major, taken from a set of pieces for organ written in 1863. The Pastoral (Op 19) Fantdisie in A, prelude, fugue,-and variation, and tho Finale in B Flat (Op 21), will complete tho programme for tlio recital. -
