RICCARTON TRAINING NOTES.

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The weather was fine, after frost, for; training at Riccarton. Fleet-ham easily beat Kilt-ess over six furlongs in lmin 1 18 3-ssec. Most of the other work on the flat was at half pace. Dardanelles jumped one round of the fences at hunting pace. , Coalition and Crib were to-, gether all the way in a' school over eight fences, at a sound pace. -Master Strowan' jumped one round of the fences, jumping^ well. Stone Ginger gave a good exhibition in. a similar task. Sleight of Hand, Sir Solo, and Kauri jumped two hurdles fast. Master Boris outpaced Vasconia in a similar task. Gang Awa' was too good for Sir Fisher over four' hurdles. Reformation jumped the pony hurdles. > <
