An interesting sidelight of the defeat which the British dealt to two German .divisions east of,Njeppc Forest towards .the end of June-is the fact that (JenI oral Friedrich. A. "J.'von BBrahardi was tho commander of the army corps that suffered this heavy chastisement. Yon feombardi has been a writer of articles !on the war, the majority of which conItained bitter attacks on the British. A Iwhile'ago it was reported that he had Ibeen killed, but it now definitely is ositablished that he is coramandinff this 'icoTps in Flanders.
