Encore after encore attested to tJie popularity of Captain and Mrs. Macfarlane's concert at the Sailors' Friend Society last night. Those who rendered assistance were Mesdames Macfarlane and W. Cats, and Misses Gladys Watkins, Healey, Danby, and Jennings, Mr. ■W. Cate, and Captain Macfarkne. Mrs. Macfarlane and the Misses Gladys Watkins and Healey were at the piano. Mr. Moore, missioner, pronounced the progress of the thanksgiving effort as good. The short story competition was deeply interesting to all.
