.DUNEDIN, 6th August. At the Supreme Court, Francis Joseph Conn peladed guilty to a charge of assault, and was fined £20. Alfred Charles Cornwallis Stevens," Captain in the New Zealand Staff Corps and Group Commander at Milton, was charged with the theft of £1 7a 7d, £1 8s 7d,'and £1 18s }d on 18th April. Accused is further charged with the theft of £27 13s 7d on 29th April. The case is unfinished.
