UNITED SIBERIAN GOVERNMENT

ORGANISING A NATIONAL ARMY

(AUSTBAUAN-NBW ZEALAND CABU ASSOCIATION.) (Received August 7, 8.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, 6th August. The Russian Embassy, in a statement, says: —"The United Siberian Government, which has superseded the Soviets, is endeavouring to organise a national army with the object to re-establish with the co-operation of the Allies, a new battlefroiit against Germany. The Siberian Government is on good terms witt the Czecho-Slovaks. All classes ;in Siberia favour the formation of a national army. The 'Czecho-Slovaks have abandoned their plan to proceed to the West front, and will remain in Russia to fight the Germans, and Austrians. The indications are that the United Siberian Government will co-operate with the American and Japanese force sent to aid the Czecho-Slovaks."
