Pareroa Hack Steeplechase, of 100 soys ; two miles.—Master Hamilton 12.9, 1; Luigi, 10.9, 2; Land Ashore, 10.9, 3. Also started: Grand Cross, Transfer. Time, 4min- 15.2-ssec.
Levels Hack Handicap, of 70 soys; six furlongs.—Warfonn, 9.2, 1; Belgian King, 9.0, 2; Luff, 9.9, 3. Scratched: Lady Superior, Jingo, Jack Symons, All Right,-The Sapper, and Moorabbe. Won by a length. Time, lmin 17 3-ssec.
South' Canterbury Steeplechase, of 200 soys; one mile and.a-half.—Sylvia,9.l2, 1; Bore, 11.9, 2; Polling Tide, 9.8, 3. ■Scratched : Master Hamilton, Vascular, Land Ashore. Won by eight lengths. Time, smin 27 3-ssec.
