MALINI, THE MAGICIAN
Simplicity is the keynote of the entei--toinment to be given' by M-alini, tho magician, at the Concert Chamber on Satturday evening, prior to his departure for America, His performance is weird and fascinating. The various tricks appear to be accomplished without a.ny deception whatever, while- he limits his paraphernalia to a solitary ■table, a few .glasses, tray, eggs, and minor articles loaned from members of the audience. Malini has many happy stories to tell during his. entertainment. Some of his tricks with playing cards are said to be positively uncanny. So works unaided, having no assistants or mechanical appliances. To prove this ho invites a number of the audience on to the stage to watch his movements. The season is for seven nights only. Malini will bo assisted, by- Miss- Ettie Field, soprano, and Mrs. A. M. Montague, pianist.
