A pleasant evening was spent by the members of the Kilbirnie Tennis Club in the school on Saturday evening, when two of the club members., Messrs. Packer and Littlejohn, who are going on active service, were entertained. Mr. Stoupe, the club's president, thanked the departing members for their activity in the interests of the club during the past season, which the members desired to recognise by presenting each with mementoes. Mr. Packer suitably responded. Items were rendered by Misses Buckmaster, Phillips, Bacon, Croucher, and L. Jorgensen.
