ENGINE DERAILED AT TARINGAMOTU.

TAUMARUNUI, This Day.

The Auckland-Wellington express this morning ran into a slip near Taringamotu Station, a few miles from here. The engine was derailed. Aid from Taumarunui was obtained by engine whistle. The train was delayed five hours,, reaching Taumarunui about seven o'clock.

The, Traffic Department expects the Auckland express to reach Wellington about 5.30 this evening.
