LONDON, 13th June. The newspapers comment upon the improved position in regard to labour since the settlement of the brief strike at Birkenbead shipbuilding yards eai-ly in the week. There was practically no stoppage. Throughout the country men have been working with renewed vigour and determination since the German offensive began, and the outlook was never better during the war.
