ENEMY'S JUBILANT MESSAGE

LONDON, 12th June.

Admiralty per Wireless Press—A German official report states: We repulsed with the heaviest losses a French coun-ter-attack south-west of Noyon, and threw the enemy back along the whole front from Le Pioyron to Antheuil. We cleared the enemy out from the west hank of the Oise northward of its junction with the Matz. The number of prisoners now totals thirteen thousand. The enemy evacuated Carleponfc Wood, and, pursuing him, we reached a line running northward of Bailly through Tracey-le-Val to the westward of Nampcel. There was hard fighting on 11th June. Yon' Hutier repulsed an expected counter-attack for the recapture of a .group of hills south-west of Noyon, and carried out in strength by several French divisions. Armoured care which had been brought up in great numoers were shot to pieces on the battlefield. Our counter-attack shattered the enemy's assault between Mery and Belloy. Bitter fighting continued until nightfall. We are pursuing the enemy beyond Oarlepont and Caisnes. The enemy, regardless of sacrifices, kept up his attacks north-west of Chateau Thierry. These broke down with sanguinary losses.
