INSURRECTIONS IN MANY TOWNS

LONDON, 12th June.

Delayed Russian messages indicate that there ha 6 been fierce righting in different parts of Siberia, and European Eussia between the Czech-Slovaks• and the Bolsheviks. The former, although prisoners of war, a.re bitterly hostile to the Central Powers, but it is impossible to gauge the full significance of the encounters. German Magyar prisoners assisted the Bolsheviks at Pensa, on the Moscow-Siberia railway, 220. miles westward of Samara, which another Czech force is threatening. The Czechs captured Pensa, but subsequently gave up their prisoners, except the German Magyars,, whom they intend to shoot.

It is reported that a force of 15,000 Czech-Slovaks cut the railway line to the Southern Urals. Similar insurrections aro occurring in many Siberian towns between rival bands 'of released prisoners. (REUTBR'B TE!,E<3R»U.) AMSTERDAM, 11th June. Advices from Kieft' state that 15,000 Czechs and Slovaks in the Chelyabinsk region have occupied part of the Siberian railway and captured munitions.
