CHRISTIANIA, 9th June. Chiefly owing to the decreasing activity of the submarines, the Norwegian merchant tonnage constructed in May exceeded the month's torpedo-sinkings for the first time since the ruthless submarine campaign began. The Norwegian merchant fleet now has 3253 ships, aggregating 1,952,000 tons.
