/ LONDON, 9th June. An Italian official communique states: There is somewhat intense artillery firing from the Astico to the Piave. A British party south of the Assa River brought off a. successful coup de main and inflicted- considerable losses, bringing back prisoners. Attempted enemy attacks in the Val Aras and the Astico Valley were arrested by our fire. Our airships and aeroplanes _ bombarded the .railway stations and aviation'camps of the enemy at Huttenti, and also used their maohine-guns' on- moving troops, and exploded a large ammunition dump at Nattarollo. Five enemy machines were brought down.
