COURT-MARTIAL SENTENCES
For disobeying a lawful command of his superior officer 77509, Pte. Henry Moffat, Cl Details, has been sentenced by a District Court Martial held at Featherston Camp, to two years' harff labour.
Tho following soldiers havo been sentenced by District Court Martial, hold at Trentham:— Pte. S. Rosenbock, Details, desertion and 1035 oi equipment, ISO days' detention and stoppago of pay, £l 8s Id; Ptc. N. E. Christopher, Details, desertion, when under orders for active service, 90 days' dotention; Pte. G. A. F. Welsh, Details, escaping from confinement, and deserting when under orders for active service, 180 days' detention. Two other soldiers for being absent without leave and for disobeying a lawful command when on active service, havo boon sentenced to 56 and 60 days' detention respectively. In all cases the sentence is to be remitted upon arrival at tho final port of disembarkation when tho accused leave on active service.
