10,000 MEN BEING CALLED UP

The ballot, it is officially stated, will be for 10,000 men, not for 5000 only, as originally intimated. Owing to the longer time required to prepare the list of names of men. drawn and to arrange the necessary medical itineraries, the Gazette containing the same will be issued on., Thursday, the;.2sth. inst, not Tuesday, 23rd, April, as previously fixed. There being only 18,000 men in Class B, to-morrow's ballot will leave only another 8000 men to call up in this class. The next category is Class 0 (married men with two children each).
