GIVEN A CHANCE

A man named Henry William" Knott appeared before Mr. W. G.-', Riddell, S.M.,\ at the Magistrate's Court to-day to answer two charges of failing to.■■ account to his employers, the City Milk Supply, Ltd., for. sums of £10 10s 4d and 15s ,6d, collected by him in January and the present month. Accused pleaded guilty, and asked to be given another chance, saying that he / would make re^ stitution as soon as possible. The Magistrate agreed to give the man an opportunity, to redeem himself, and entered a conviction, and order' him to come up for sentence when palled upon. Knbtt was ordered to pay back the money at' the rate of £1 a month, the first payment to be made on ,22nd April .
