SONG RECITAL
On Wednesday next( 27th March),. at 8.15 p.m;, Mr. Fred Collier, a leading baritone from Melbourne, will givo a.song recital in the Town Hall' Concert Chamber. Mr.. Collier, lias appeared, with..all' the leading musical societies in Melbourne: and Sydney. The gifted; singer sang the bass work in Handel's " Messiah," given hy the - Melbourne Philharmonic Society in December last, and with his wife (Miss Elsy Treweek) has been engaged to sing the solo work in ■" Elijah'•' with the j Sydney Choral Union next month. Mr. ! Collier will also appear with Madame I Mplba in the Sydney Town Hall on her return from America. Mr. Harold, Whittle and other well-known artists will assist!
