INTERNED SEAMEN
, The Merchant Service Guild recently suggested to the Federated Seamen's Union that a deputation be formed by representatives of the Guild,'the Instil tute of Marine Engineers, the Seamen's Union, and the.Cooks and' Stewards' Union, to wait on the Government in, regard to the question of the maintenance of dependents of interned crews. To consider the letter, a meeting of the head office of the Seamen's Union of New Zealand was held to-day. It was decided to co-operate in the matter with the Merchant Service Guild and kindred bodies in the interest of all dependents.
