INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION

A meeting of the committee of the Wellington : Industrial Association was held last evening, Mr. F. J. Evans presiding.

It was reported that the bank balance was £40 12s 9d. Outstanding subscriptions totalled £49, of which £40 was for 1918 subscriptions.

_Mr. C. M'lntyre, secretary of the New Zealand Natives' Association, was present by invitation, and he outlined at length the Easter egg scheme for the purpose of raising money for the erection of a memorial hall in Wellington, a.nd asked for co-operation and support. The association, while sympathising with the Natives' Association, decided that the matter was one for individual manufacturers to deal \vith themselves.

Mrs. J. P. Firth, in a letter, asked the association to take charge of the

Red Cross shop on a, day in June. It was decided that no action could be taken. •■■.•■
