BODY FOUND IN THE HARBOUR

The body of an old man, Charles Lett, 82 years of age, was recovered from the. harbour at about 11 o'clock this morning, near the Tliorndon Esplanade, a-nd was removed to the Morgue.. The body had evidently been in tjie water for a. short time only before it was recovered, but had been dashed against the rocks. The legs and wrists wore loosely tied together with bootlaces, but foul play is not suspected. Deceased was well known throughout the Wellington and Mssterton districts. :
