CHRISTCHURCH, 9th March.

A petition that J. M'Combs, M.P., be adjudged a bankrupt has been filed in the Supremo Court. The petitioning creditors are Kincaid's, Ltd., and Bowron Bros., Ltd., and the ground of the petition is that 51' Combs has committed an available act of bankruptcy, a distress warrant having been executed on him and returned "nulla bona."
