MISHAP TO THE HUIA
It was recently announced that the small. coastal steamer Huia was to run in the Dunedin-Invercargill service, and she left Wellingtoe for Dunedin on Wednesday last. However, it 'appears that it will be some time before she takes up her running in the south, for while outside Timaru. this morning a mishap occurred to her boilers, and she was forced to put'into Timaru. A Post reporter was informed to-day that the Kittawa is towing her back to Lyttelton, where iri al) probability slio will be repaired. It will be remembered that an explosion occurred on the Huia a few weeks ago while she was berthed at Wellington.
