NAPIER, 9th March. The Napier Park Racing Club's second day was held in fine, though showery, weather, and there was a large attendance. The track was heavy, as on the first day. Two enquiries were held during the da.y. Jockey Hatch was cautioned for pulling in in the Kuao Handicap and blocking Oratress, and the second concerned the inconsistent running of Sweet Corn, ridden by Deeleyon each day The judicial stewards expressed much, dissatisfaction with, the running of the horse, and considered it a case in which suspicion attached to the 1 rider. The totalisator handled £19,457, making a total for the two days of £35,787, against £57,612 for the corresponding two days last year.
