Boys' liistitute A team won by default i from Kilbirnie. Boys' Institute B team, 69 and 42 (P. I AVard 40 and 20 not out, H. Anderson 10). 53t. Cuthbert's A team, 177 fof four wickets (declared) (Hutchings not out 62, Turvey not oufc 46, H. Charles 45,. Bolt 19). St. Cuthbert's won by an innings and 66 runs. Boys' Institute A team and St. CuthTjertls are level for the championship, and | will now play off. JUNIOE. A Grade. Boys' Institute A 112 (D. Burt 43, P. Carey 18, A. Douglas 15, E. Jeffries 15). V.M.C.A. A team 58 and 49 (Oliver 17 and -34 not out, Almao 12). Bowling for Institute. W. Tucker took nine wickets for .21 runs, and performed the hat trick. Bradcock took three for 16 and T. Ban 1 two for 11. Boys' Institute A won by an innings and 5 runs. By winning this match Boys' Institute A team have won th,e junior A grade championship. B Grade. Boys' Institute C team 52 and 104 (R. Cunningham 20,. S. Dempster 20, H. Lambert 19 not out). St. Thpihas's 48 and 44 (Nicol 15, Foley 18). fowling for Boys' Institute W. Hanley took nine wickets for 28 runs, J. Banks seven for 42, S. Dempster two/ for 6. Boys' Institute C team won^b'y 64 runs. Boys' Institute C team, by winning, have now won the junior B grade championship, as they have secured threepoint wins in every, match. Their total number' of points gained cannot be beaten. Boys' Institute V team 27 and 75 (Whinham 18, Davis 15). Boys' Institute D team 48 and 60 (Newton 16, D. Chandler 18 : G. Gill 10, J. Keys 10). Boys' Institute D team won by six runs securing a three-point win. HARBOUR BOARD MATCH. Teams chosen from the Harbour Board's casual and permanent staffs played a match at' Duppa-street on Saturday, with the 1 following result :— Permanent Staff scored 166 runs (O'Brien 75. Wright 21, Reeves 21, Barber 14, Wrigley 10 not out). Casuals replied with 48 runs (Whelan 17 not out, Carr 15). Bowling for Permanent Staff, H. Clarke took seven wickets for 21 runs and Nicholas one for none. For Casuals, W. Clarke three for 37 and Thomas three for 53 were- the best. Permanent Staff won by 118.runs.
