SPANISH STEAMERS SUNK
(Received March 1, 1 p.m.) , MADRID, 28th February. The Spanish steamer Sardinero, 2289 tons, was torpedoed north-west of Casablanca on the 23rd. A French hydroplane discovered the crew, who were brought in by a French patrol ship to Teneriffe. It is reported at Bilbao that the steamer Neguri, 2000 tons, has also been sunk.
