The totalisator handled £19,357. against £15,883 on the first day of the two-days meeting held last year. Ruahine Jumpers' Flat, Handicap, of 100 soys ; one mile and a-half.—4 Parewanui, 8.7, 1; 1 Colorado, 10.5, 2; 3 Prince Delaware. 10.13, 3. Also started : 2 Zeus 10.4, 5 Combustion 8.13. Won by four lengths. Time, 2min 42 l-ssec, Makirikiri Hack Handicap, of 110 soys; one mile and 50 yards.—l All Over, 7.0, 1; 2 Retard, 7.11', 2; 3 Elevate, 7.8, 3. Also started : 4 Belgian Maid 7.0, 5 War Star 7.0, Won by half a length. Time, lmin 46 l-ssec.
