SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
There was a. good attendance at the Sailors' Friend Society last evening, when an excellent" programme was "sriven by Miss E. Still. The following contributeel items: —Misses Harden, Bifcossi, King, Wilcocke, and Pope, and Messrs. T). Scott, "Whitty. Misses Harden and Kerr. were at the. piano. Several interesting competitions were also held, and a temperance address' was delivered by the mis6ioner (Mr. Moore). Tlie society is grateful to the donors of books for ships in port.
