A DAUGHTER'S SHARE
A matter brought under the provisions of the Families' Protection Act was the subject of a judgment' delivered in the Supreme Court to-day by the Chief Justice, Sir Robert Stout. ■ The action was taken by Anne Stewart Parr, married Woman, against Sutherland arid Cameron, executors in the estate of the late Alexander M'Leod. Plaintiff is deceased's daughter, arid under the will of her father , she, was ..left the sum of £60. The. total value of the estate was £13,446 ISs lid.. His. Honour commented on the fact that Mrs. Parr had a husband and some.' children to assist in her support, but agreed'io the amount available to. .her under the will to £200. | Costs •werc-allowcd. At the hearing Mr. { P. Levi appeared for plaintiff, and Mr. C. P. Skerrett, K.C., with him Mr. Card, for the-"defendants.. ■
