CRICKET
The following are the results of the North-University match (junior), played on Kelburn Park on Saturday :—North made 155 (Cameron 42), and University are 114 for ona wicket. -For University Morton made 42 and Graham 49 not out.
A cricket match was played on Anderson Park on Saturday last between teams selected from, the Imperial Supplies Company and the Post and Telegraph Stores Cricket Clubs, The latter batted first, and made 180 for the loss of seven wickets, and declared the innings closed. The Supplies then took the strike, putting together 65 rune for the loss of nine wickets, when stumps were drawn. For the Stores Thomas batted in brilliant style, making 102 not out. Kenny (21), Kelly (20), Hamilton (12), and O'Brien (10) also batted well. Allardyce (16), Rhodes (10), and Rutherford (13) batted best for Supplies. The bowling honours for Supplies were shared by Smith, Grainger, Rhodes', and Taylor. O'Brien, Wells, and Kelly bowled very well for the P. and T. Stores, O'Brien sending down five maidens in succession.
