Russell, sto G guineas; mixed aged ewes, fair condition, to 22s Id; medium f.in. ewes. 17s; cull ewes, low condition, lQs 9d to lls 10d; medium lambs, 14s (id, 14s lOd, to 15s; small lambs, 0s Od to lls lOd; cull lambs, 7s 8d to 8s 2d; shorn lambs, 12s Id; B.F. lambs, 14s 6d; 2-tooth wethers (small), 18s; cull 2tooths, 13s Cd ; f.m. rams, 20s to 23s Cd; potters, 15s to l!)s Od; forward empty heifers, £0 10s to £9 10s; fat and forward cows, £10 10s; forward cows, £9 to £10; medium condition cows, £7 to £8 ss; dairy bulls, £7 17s Bd to £10; potters, to £14 103; 2-year steers, mixed colours, £9; yearling steers, mixed colours, to £5 ss; weaner steers, £3 12s Cd to £4 7s; 18----months heifers, R.W.8., £6 lls Od; springing heifers, to £10.

The New Zealand 'Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., reports that at their Pahautiinui sale on Friday there were offered nearly 3000 sheep and a large number of cattle to a fair attendance. Bidding was good for all classes of stock that carried fair condition, but low-conditioned stock was neglected. Tho following are some of the prices obtained: 353 4year ewes offered' on account of Mr. .T. S. Smith realised 33s 2d; 125 l.m. ewes oiferei! on account of Mr. Charles Gray realised 30s 8d; 2-tooth ewes, 35s Id; 2-tooth wethers, 24s Id to 24s 4d; medium 2-tooth wethers, 20s lOd; forward cwns and wethers, 27s 3d to 28s 4d; mixed age ewea, 20s 9d; medium f.rn. ewes, 15s; 5-year ewes (low condition), lls; cull ewes, 7s Id; Jambs, 13s 7d to 15s lOd; cull lambs, 0s 3d; f.m. rams, 18s; 2-year steers, £9 3s; bulls (small), £0 to £6 15s; springing cows, £10 to itlJ; forward cows, £9 10s.
