The New Zealand era are more than holding their own with the Germans 1 in the front Tine and prisoners continue to be captured.
The Military Medal has been awarded to Corporal J. G. Hart, Rifles, and L.-opl.H. Fake, of the Engineers.
,The death of Major Victor Rogers is greatly regretted. He served through the Galh'poli campaign, and took part with artillery in the battles of the Sormne, Messines, and Passchendaele ? being twice wounded. He had paid a visit to headquaitei-s, and was • 'killed instantaneously by a high explosive shell while walking along the road back to his battery.
