A Vitagraph Blue Ribbon' feature entitled "The Alabaster Box" is the current attraction at the Empress Theatre. The popular Alice Joyce plays the part of Lydia Bolton in this refreshingly new play. Lydia, under an assumed name, returns to a town which has been ruined by her father, and sets out to recompense the people. The subsequent scenes ■ are powerfully dramatic. Two interesting love etories run through the drama.
