PORTER'S MOTOR GARAGE.

Shannon. Motorist* pawing between Palmerston North and Wellington frequently need the services of a thoroughly competent motor engineer and supplies of petrol, etc. Now it is. with pleasure the writer draws special attention to Mr. E. Porter's fine new motor garage at Shannon on the main thoroughfare to the city. Here every class of repair can be effected to any make of car, and the workmanship will be found to be of the very beet, while the charges are exceedingly moderate. The residents of Levin and all parts of the Manawatu line will also find it will pay them to take their repairs to Porter's garage, because experience teaches that it is best to place your motor in the hands of a proper engineer. Why let a blacksmith gain experience at the exjbenee_of your car and pocket? Cars can be stored at Porter's by owners at very reasonable charges, and full stocks at tires, tubes, benzine, oils, carbide, etc., are always obtainable at lowest possible prices. THE SAXON AGENCY. In the Saxon motor car agency which is referred to elsewhere in this issue by advertisement Mr. Porter has a valuable one. The Saxon car is of remarkably beautiful design. Perfectly balanced, and upholstered in real leather. It is a great hill climber, and the many ueere of Saxons speak in the highest terms of praise of its general utility. The price is very reasonable, and before purchasing a motor our advice to you is to get in touch with Ms. B. Porter, have a trial . run in the Saxon, and you will be con-

vinced of its merit. Mr. Porter is in the happy position of being 1 able to give immediate delivery of either four or sixcylinder cars to-day if necessary, and, Levin, residents are Specially aisked to ses the Saxon before throwing their money away on infferior cars. Mr. Porter also holds the agency for the Manawatu Line of the Maxwell car.
