MAGISTRATE'S COURT

Three first offending inebriates appeared before Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., this morning at the Magistrate's Court, and were .convicted and discharged. Elizabeth Hammond, who was 'found helplessly drunk in Hawkestone-crecent, was remanded for one week for medical treatment. ' ;

Dave Alexander Wright was also remanded for a week on a similar charge. Thomas Rimmer was fined 20s, with the alternative of three days in gaol, for drunkenness.
