DUTCH STEAMERS TORPEDOED.
(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.).. ■ MADRID, 15th- January. The. Dutch steamer Atlas de Royal has been torpedoed near Eort Cabras, in the Canary Islands. Twenty-nine of the crew were saved.

[The Spanish steamer Joaquin Mumbru was torpedoed at the end of December, seventy miles off Madeira, One boat, with eighteen survivors, ""was reported a few days- ago to have arrived at Las Palmas; another boat, containing the captain and twenty sailors, was missing.]
