Cpl. E, «. F. Marsden, of the 39th Fold Artillery, N.Z.E.F., and late shipping clerk at Messrs. Wright, Stevensoli, and Co.'s, was on Saturday last met by the staff of the firm, and presented ■with a leather waistcoat. The presentation was made by the managing director (Mr. James Macintosh) in a very complimentary speech. Cpl. Marsden suitably acknowledged the gift and the wudly Heelings which prompted it.
